New Agrippa showroom in Moscow

We are delighted to announce that in the spirit of consolidating its markets and becoming closer to customers, in December 2019 Agrippa opened a new showroom, in Moscow in Moon-Stores from the hand of Moon Studio and the architect Olga Surkova.

It is an honour for Agrippa to share a space in the magnificent city of Moscow, where will host not only our latest furniture collections, but also events and exhibitions. At the inauguration we had the honor to count with the visit and support of the Spanish ambassador in Moscow Fernando Valderrama.

The showroom has been designed to show the range of living and dining furniture in room settings, combining pieces and showing the versatility of the products to work with other pieces.

We are thankful of all our colleagues, partners, friends and visitors that could come and share a wanderful night.

Morgan is designed with the sensuality and purity that characterizes Agrippa and invites you to contemplate and enjoy its personality and beauty by its soft and sinuous curves.

The first place was awarded to I-Ting Tsai, Xixi Zheng, Yiru Yun, and Somdatta Majumdar from the United Kingdom for the design of Fabric Chair.

This project is an investigation on the use of fabric as a structural material in furniture design. A special resin was developed to harden fabric placed on a rigid mold. The resin hardens the fabric to become structural while retaining its softness in specific locations.

Lady Sting Chair by artisans

The Lady Sting chair is produced by artisans that have perfected the art of woodworking. Made in American Walnut, this chair seemingly defies the laws of ergonomics, standing as a symbolic and aesthetic element.

Studies on globalization, flexibility, adaptability, and the digital revolution are some of the multi-layered elements of the competition. It is an investigation on the public and private space and the role of the individual and the collective in the creation of dynamic and adaptive vertical communities.

Over the last six years, an international panel of renowned architects, engineers, and city planners have reviewed more than 4,000 projects submitted from 168 countries around the world. Participants include professional architects and designers, as well as students and artists. This book is the compilation of 300 outstanding projects selected for their innovative concepts that challenge the way we understand architecture and their relationship with the natural and built environments.
